Note: For best results with this pack, it is important to note that:
- The more frozen products are in the bag,
- The better the result. Make sure there is less air or empty space. This improves cooling performance. So make sure you fill as efficiently as possible.
The insulation value of our insulation bag for fresh produce is high thanks to an innovative multi-layer construction. We offer 4-layer and 6-layer variants, composed of bubble film and reflective metal foils, among others. Together, these layers create an effective barrier against temperature changes. Heat from outside is reflected and the cold inside is retained for longer.
A 4-layer aluminium cooling bag is usually sufficient for refrigerated shipments for up to about 24-48 hours, depending on the quantity of cooling elements. For shipments that are in transit for even longer or require extra protection, there is the 6-layer insulation bag. Thanks to additional insulation layers, this variant can keep products chilled for up to 72 hours. Thus, longer transit times or hot summer days need not be a problem for your fresh goods.
Compared to EPS boxes, this bag with aluminium insulation for refrigerated products offers at least equivalent insulation - in many cases even better insulation than EPS, and that at a lower volume and weight. EPS (polystyrene foam) has good insulating properties by itself, but our insulation bags combine convection and radiation insulation in one package. The result is excellent insulation value without the bulk of a Styrofoam box. In addition, it is often more cost-effective: both the purchase price and shipping costs (due to less volume) are lower compared to traditional Styrofoam boxes.
