An EPP refrigerated box (or EPP box) is a commonly used insulated box in food logistics.
When delivering online orders, the EPP box is indispensable. The boxes are very sturdy and are therefore reused several times. The EPP boxes are stackable, have a handle and are easy to clean on the inside. For frozen products, the EPP box can be used in combination with dry ice.
The black EPP boxes are a lot sturdier than the white EPS boxes and are therefore reused.
What is an EPP box?
An EPP box is an insulating box made of Expanded Poly Propylene (EPP) and is 100% recyclable. Due to the compressed material, EPP has a high insulation value. The material of the EPP boxes is lightweight but at the same time very strong. This makes the EPP box very suitable for repeated use.

Why do you need an insulating box?
When goods need to be shipped chilled or frozen, it is wise to ensure good insulation in addition to refrigerants. Insulating boxes are therefore just as important as the cooling capacity from the inside. This cooling capacity from the inside can be created with, for example, cooling elements, ice packs or dry ice.
