Our PCM packs are used in many different industries. PCM packs are often used in places where flake ice cannot be used, e.g. when transporting fish by air or sending meat or medicines by post. Because PCM packs are sealed and do not release melt water when defrosted, they are often used in the pharmaceutical, organic and agri-food industries. What is the big difference between a PCM pack and an icepack? A PCM pack gives a constant temperature of -18°C While a gel pack gives off 0°C. If you ship goods frozen, a PCM pack is the ideal solution.
